G & G Bolt Tail Cleaner and Polisher

User Instructions 

This cleaning and polishing tool is intended for use as a fast and efficient method for completely removing and polishing the carbon build up from the bolt tail collar of AR-15/M-16 weapon systems. 

1. Safely unload weapon and disassemble.
2. Remove the bolt from the bolt carrier and wipe down the exterior.
3. Use the G & G Bolt Cleaning and Polishing Tool to scrape the carbon off the bolt tail collar:

1. Place the bolt tail into the guide hole and push the bolt tail all the way down so the collar makes contact with the scraper blade.
2. Apply pressure and twist the bolt to scrape off the carbon.
3. Twist both directions for trouble spots and carbon build up.

1. Use the G & G Bolt Cleaning and Polishing Tool to polish the bolt collar :

1. Pull open the polisher arm.
2. Place a cleaning pad along the inside of the polisher arm. 
3. Be sure to leave 1/8” to 1/4” of the polisher pad exposed beyond the edge of the polisher arm on the polisher arm guide hole recess.
4. Place the bolt tail into the polisher guide hole with the collar against the recess.
5. Close the polisher arm over the bolt tail so the polisher pad covers the bolt tail and bolt tail collar.
6. Apply pressure to the polisher arm with your thumb and apply pressure by pushing the bolt into the bolt tail guide hole recess.
7. While applying pressure on the polisher arm and by pushing the bolt into the polisher guide hole recess, twist the bolt in one or both directions to polish off residual carbon build up.

 

 

When complete, any carbon build up will have been completely removed and the bolt tail and collar will be cleaned to a shine.
